Course on PA treatment and surgery

Registration for the PA Surgeon Course

Surgical periodontal treatment continues to offer new opportunities to preserve teeth that were previously considered hopeless. This raises questions about indications, prognosis, and patient communication.

We’ll be focusing on this in a
” course on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Price: 1 ,995 DKK, including tax

The course is aimed at dentists and dental hygienists.

It starts with patient dialogue
Many clinics are seeing patients who, to a greater extent than before, are seeking expertise over AI-generated advice.

This increases the need for the latest knowledge in areas such as
Emdogain, antibiotics, and bone building.

Treatment plans in periodontology are still a little uncertain for some of us. What can be done when we take the step
beyond non-surgical treatment?

Cases, considerations, and peer sparring
Based on specific cases, dentist Maria Justesen shares her perspectives on considerations before, during, and after surgery. There will be opportunities for questions, sparring, and knowledge sharing.

Dentist Maria Justesen

Maria Justesen graduated from the School of Dentistry, Aarhus University in 2013. In recent years, she has worked extensively with PA surgery and performs both resective and regenerative surgery. She has refined her approach through several courses in Denmark and abroad and operates several times a week.

The regenerative approach uses papilla preserving technique or MIST and M-MIST (modified minimally invasive surgical technique). Closure is primarily achieved with PTFE suture, with the use of Emdogain and collagen bone augmentation when indicated. Patients are seen for 2-3 postoperative check-ups with tailored guidance.
